Vice President of Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University (PMU) for Academic Affairs, Dr. Faisal Yousef Al-Anezi, signed a partnership agreement with officials of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization "UNESCO" in France, for cooperation in the fields of research, education and youth development.
On the occasion, Dr. Al-Anezi said this agreement is an extension of the continuous discussions between the two parties in the previous period in the framework of its expansion plans to enhance its academic and scientific position, in preparation for signing an agreement to establish a UNESCO Chair for Future Studies in the coming month of September.
He further said the university is working to complete the procedures required for the establishment of UNESCO Chair, indicating that the university is one of the first universities in the Arab world, which concluded an agreement with UNESCO to create such scientific chairs.
