PA Consulting Group Middle East and North Africa has reinforced its senior management team in the region with the appointment of Francesco Maria Pavoni.
Pavoni has been active for more than 23 years in top management consulting, leading hundreds of projects tackling a wide range of issues, with a focus on financial services, energy, electronics, telecommunications, high technology, healthcare and education.
Based at PA’s office in Dubai, he becomes the third member of PA’s senior management team active in the MENA region, joining Jason Harborow and Philip Rice.
Harborow, Head of PA’s expanding MENA operations, said: “Francesco will be reinforcing our leadership with the goal to further develop PA as one of the most value adding advisors in the MENA region, helping governments and private institutions to win the strategic and market challenges of the coming years.”

Pavoni’s career has included senior positions with a number of top management consulting companies. He was previously Managing Director of Value Partners from 2013, and formerly Senior Partner at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants from 2011.
His chief consultancy activities include helping large multinational groups and corporations through major restructuring processes, including M&A and post-merger integration, and assisting CEOs and top management choose and implement competitive growth strategies.
A chartered financial accountant (CFA), he has a degree in economics from La Sapienza University of Rome and received Italy’s prestigious Ordine al Merito del Lavoro in recognition of his achievements.
Pavoni’s career also included collaborations with distinguished universities and institutions across the world, and he is the author of several books and publications.
