OSN presents incredible line-up of television

This September will see OSN, the region’s leading pay-TV network, roll out its best-to-date programming. The first-class line-up of fantastic television has something for the whole family as another action-packed season of comedies, thrillers, kids films, gritty dramas and US talk-shows hit the screens.

One of this month’s many highlights will be the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California, featuring a significant number of shows nominated to win that air exclusively on OSN. The Emmys will be telecast live on OSN First HD on September 21 at 03:00 (KSA).

Disney brings the best in kids’ entertainment with the exclusive movie Descendants. Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce and Booboo Stewart star in a present-day idyllic kingdom where the benevolent teenage son of King Adam and Queen Belle offer a chance of redemption for the trouble-making children of Disney's classic villains: Cruella De Vil (Carlos), Maleficent (Mal), the Evil Queen (Evie) and Jafar (Jay).

On the movies front there’s plenty to choose from. Headlining the roster is The Avengers: Age of Ultron, starring Robert Downey Jr, in which a dormant peacekeeping programme goes horribly wrong and it's up to earth's mightiest heroes to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plans. Meanwhile, action and adventure fans get set as two rebels - Max, a man of action, and Furiosa, who wants to make it back to her childhood homeland in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken - look to restore order in the brilliant Mad Max: Fury Road.

OSN First HD provides the best in gripping dramas and reality TV shows. Brand new to OSN and showing at exactly the same minute as the US will be NBC’s Blindspot, which follows an epidemic that breaks out in Atlanta, leaving the city quarantined and those stuck on the inside fighting for their lives. Viewers can watch the series from September 24 at 21:00 (KSA). Don’t miss a single minute of the action as Series 2 of How to get away with Murder starts at the same time as the US on September 28 at 22.00 (KSA).

OSN First Comedy HD is the go to place for laughs as Season 1 of the crazy comedy, Benched, starring Nine Whitley, is premiered, along with Manhattan Love Story, as the unfiltered internal monologues of a young man and woman are exposed when they begin a new relationship together, both showing Monday-Wednesday from September 7 at 19:00 and 19:30 (KSA).

Among the hit shows returning to the screens is Emmy-award winning series, Downton Abbey, with Season 6 set to start on September 22 at 22:00 (KSA) at the same time as the UK. Hit music and talent reality show, The Voice, returns for Season 9 on September 22 at 19:00 (KSA), while from September 24 at 22:00 (KSA), watch Season 2 of the awesome drama, Empire, which sees a father diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease choose one of his three sons to take over when he dies.

Lastly, this month’s finales features Season 10 of Supernatural in which two brothers join-up to fight unearthly beings, finishing September 13 at 21:00 (KSA).
