Orphans to get support from martyrs’ fund

The Ministry of Interior and the International Islamic Relief Organization, Saudi Arabia (IIROSA), an affiliate of the Muslim World League, signed on Monday an agreement to sponsor an orphan in memory of each soldier who lost his life defending the nation.
The agreement is a form of tribute to the martyred soldier, with the aim of ensuring that the deceased receives the reward for every good deed done on his behalf. Moreover, wells will be dug across the Kingdom as a charity in the name of the martyrs.
Under a directive of Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad bin Naif, second deputy premier and minister of interior, the agreement was signed by Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Al-Mohrej, director general of military affairs at the ministry, and Ehssan Taieb, secretary general of IIROSA.
The Interior Ministry’s department for martyrs will work with IIROSA’s office in Riyadh to finalize the procedures related to the agreement and follow-up on the implementation process.
Al-Mohrej said that the agreement is a charity project to honor the dedication and sacrifices of the country’s martyrs. “We ask Allah to reward the soldiers who passed away in the cause of Allah, while fighting for the nation,” he said.
Taieb welcomed the collaboration with the ministry. “This kind of collaboration is one of a kind and represents the commitment of IIROSA to humankind. Moreover, it is an integral part of IIROSA’s work and encourages us to provide more assistance.”
