Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, is preparing to head to the World Travel Market (WTM), the leading international travel event, from 7 to 9 November 2022 at ExCel London. Joining Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, the airline will be showcasing its products and services to major global players in the travel and tourism industry, the highlight of which will be its award-winning First-Class seat. Oman Air’s Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Abdulaziz Al Raisi and Chief Commercial Officer, Aboudy Nasser, will be attending the event, alongside its UK Sales team and other members of senior management.
“2022 has been a momentous year for Oman Air as the airline adapts to the pick-up of travel post-pandemic, while continuing to evolve to meet the demands of a rapidly shifting market. As the first in-person WTM since 2019, it is an important event for us, providing us with a unique platform to demonstrate our market-leading offerings, with access to key trade partners from all over the world,” Al Raisi commented. “We are proud to be standing side-by-side with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism to support Oman’s 2040 Vision and the National Tourism Strategy, and promote the country’s enormous potential as a preferred year-round travel destination, whether for leisure, sports or business events.”
With a young, cutting-edge fleet including some of the quietest and most fuel-efficient aircraft in the world, Oman Air is setting benchmarks for sustainability, while providing a calmer, quieter and more mindful travel experience. Recently awarded the 2023 Five-Star Major Airline rating by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), it continues to invest in its products and services, offering guests innovative cabin design, exceptional hospitality, and a growing range of destinations from its hub in Muscat.
Established in 1980, WTM has long been known as a meeting place for the global travel trade - responsible for reconnecting, rebuilding and innovating the industry. Now in its 43rd year, it continues to invite tens of thousands of senior industry professionals, government ministers and international press to network and grow.
