Officine Panerai Takes Part in The Salon Des Grandes Complications

In line with the 7th annual Jewellery Salon 2018, Officine Panerai, the Florentine luxury sports watchmaking company known for its unique fusion of Italian design and Swiss manufacturing skill, is participating with other top-notch brands in the 5th edition of Salon des Grandes Complications – SDGC.

Supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Saudi Arabia, the exhibition will be held in two different cities in the Kingdom; Jeddah event taking place from 9th till 12th of April 2018 at Hilton Hotel and Riyadh event taking place from 16th till 19th of April 2018 at Al Faisaliah Hotel.

Commenting on this participation, Milvin George, Managing Director of Officine Panerai Middle East and India, said: “The most interesting feature in the SDGC 2018 is the rich selection of products. In this exhibition we will introduce all Panerai enthusiasts to new watches. These have been designed and crafted to demonstrate how the brand interprets the relationship with its own history, while remaining contemporary and suitable for the distinct tastes and personalities of our Saudi customers, without compromising its distinctive and strong identity.”

“KSA is a strategic market for us within the region and holds a special significance because of its dynamic consumer canvas. It is important for us to maintain a strong presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is why we saw in SDGC an opportunity to bring us closer to our clientele and allow us to further express our commitment to the culture of fine watchmaking in the region,” he added.

In partnership with longstanding partner, Platinum Sands, Panerai’s clienteles and visitors will travel through time with an incredible selection of timepieces on display that will include: Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic Acciaio – 38 mm and Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic Oro Rosso – 38 mm, two new contemporary timepieces suitable for every wrist and situation, and immediately recognisable with their powerful Panerai identity. This creation has the smallest and thinnest case ever produced by Panerai from the Luminor Due collection introduced for the first time in 2016.

Other novelties from the same family will be presented at the Salon: Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic Oro Rosso – 38 m which is made entirely of red gold, an 18-carat gold alloy with a relatively high percentage of copper giving the metal a particularly intense colour. Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic Acciaio – 38 mm, made of stainless steel, a steel alloy with excellent properties of corrosion resistance.

Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic Acciaio – 42 mm, a Luminor Due case is 42 mm in diameter and made entirely of stainless steel.

Last but not least is the Luminor Base Logo 3 Days Acciaio – 44 mm, a hand-wound mechanical watch with P.6000 calibre executed entirely by the manufacture of the Florentine brand and a classic dial of Panerai design with the OP logo at 6 o’clock.
