NWC implements continuous water pumping initiative for Al-Farish Center in Madinah

The National Water Company (NWC), represented by its Northwest Cluster, has increased the rate of pumping desalinated water from 4 hours per day to continuous pumping, i.e. 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to Al-Farish Center in Madinah.

In order to maximize the utilization of water resources, increase the efficiency of operational processes, and improve the services provided to its customers, NWC, in cooperation with the Water Transmission and Technologies Company (WTTCO), has taken a package of technical measures to increase the implementation of the continuous pumping initiative for customers in Al-Farish Center. This is done by increasing the diameter of the pumping connection, redesigning the distribution networks, monitoring pressure, and reducing losses, which contributed to increasing the quantities of water received to reach 7200 cubic meters of water per day.

The company stated that these technical measures contributed to improving the service, increasing the pumping rate and continuity. NWC pointed out that these development works will have a positive impact on serving more than 20,000 beneficiaries in 15 residential districts, Hijras and villages in Al-Farish Center.

The company stressed that it will continue to provide sustainable and high-quality water services that meet the highest standards, achieve its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contribute to serving its customers in the required manner.

NWC called on its valued customers to contact it for any reservations or inquiries through its digital channels represented in the NWC mobile phone app or through its electronic branch (e.nwc.com.sa), in addition to the unified contact number 8004411110.
