The National Water Company (NWC) has finalized its preparations for the holy month of Ramadan. The company will distribute more than 9.7 million cubic meters per day to all regions and cities in the Kingdom. The aim is to provide the maximum amount of water possible to the people in the regions and their visitors during Ramadan, when the demand for water usually rises sharply.
NWC pointed out that it prepared early with a work plan for water management and distribution that ensures the continuation of optimal service delivery. The company pointed out that the work plan also provides for staffing at customer service centers that will work continuously to serve customers and meet their needs. NWC pointed out that the plan for this year's Ramadan season includes the deployment of operations and maintenance teams equipped with modern equipment and machines to deal with emergencies and technical failures, in addition to qualifying the water filling stations "Ashyab" and their facilities in various cities and governorates of the Kingdom.
The company said, "The company's extensive preparations and readiness include taking customer requests through our digital channels, including the NWC Mobile App, or through the e-branch (e.nwc.com.sa), in addition to the unified contact number (8004411110) for water services in all regions of the Kingdom 24 hours a day to receive notifications and forward them to the maintenance teams that will work around the clock to ensure timely problem resolution”
NWC stated that there is direct and continuous coordination with the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), the Kingdom's main partner in water production, to distribute the cities' quotas of desalinated water and ensure its continuity during Ramadan.
