Northrop Grumman Partners with King Saud University, Ministry of Interior to Feature Critical Defense

Under the patronage of H.R.H Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, King Saud University and Saudi Ministry of Interior are organizing the National Symposium for Command & Control and Cyber Security (NSC3) 2015 that was held April 27-29 at King Saud University in Riyadh.

As a diamond sponsor, Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) featured many of its latest, critical defense, training and cybersecurity capabilities at NSC3.

The symposium brings together government officials, academics, Northrop Grumman subject matter experts and other industry representatives to discuss technology trends and operational issues of command & control, training and cybersecurity systems in both military and civilian domains. Northrop Grumman has been a trusted partner with Saudi Arabia for 40 years and will continue to provide solutions that support the Kingdom’s national security needs.

In its exhibit at NSC3, Northrop Grumman featured its Adaptive Learning Solutions including the Virtual Immersive Portable Environment (VIPE Holodeck™), a high-fidelity, immersive environment for simulation and training, mission rehearsal and data visualization; the Citadel Enterprise Battle Command Systems, a rapidly deployable and mobile command and control system that presents a ground-breaking approach to allied integrated air and missile defense; and other unique capabilities such as cyber situational awareness, cyber academy, Paradigm and the Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS).

In addition to participating in panel discussions at the symposium and its display, Northrop Grumman also introduced CyberArabia, a cybersecurity workshop and competition at King Saud University designed to build new ways to inspire and nurture cyber talent to help address the Kingdom’s cybersecurity challenges and encourage younger generations to learn more about cyber-related career opportunities.
