The new SR230 million hotel project to provide financial support for the King Salman Center for Disability Research (KSCDR) would be completed in just under two years, said Prince Sultan bin Salman here Tuesday.
Chairing the seventh general assembly meeting of the KSCDR board of trustees here, Prince Sultan, who is also head of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, said that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman wants the center to benefit humankind.
He said that the hotel project, to be built in the Diplomatic Quarter in the capital, was boosted by a SR20 million donation from the king when he launched it last year. It would have hotel-style apartments and be completed in just under two years, he said.
He said more support is needed to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe.
