Nazaha probes 259 suspects, detains 97 in April

Saudi Arabia’s Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) handled a number of criminal and administrative cases through 3,041 inspection visits in April.

In a post on X, Nazaha said it investigated 259 suspects and detained 97 individuals, some of whom were later released on bail, over charges including bribery and abuse of power.

Those detained include employees from several government entities, including the ministries of Interior, Defense, Health, Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Human Resources and Social Development, and Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
