Nahdi Medical Company, the largest retail pharmacy chain in the MENA, has exemplified its strength and expertise in supply chain management, ranking first place locally and seventh place globally in the Fresh Connection competition, which concluded on June 5, qualifying Nahdi to participate in the finals in Amsterdam in September, alongside other teams from around the world.
Nahdi took part in the competition that was administered by Trax Consulting, a business solutions and consulting services provider, with over 650 professionals, making up 130 teams from 30 countries, with 13 teams from Saudi Arabia. Participating teams were tasked with making strategic and tactical decisions to save a fictional company from financial loss and make it as profitable as possible.
Yasser Joharji, CEO, Nahdi, expressed his pride of the supply chain department and said: “We are very proud of the outstanding results that were achieved by the supply chain team throughout this competition, and we hope that they excel respectively in the finals.
