The Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) said that more than 77,300 micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) issued the certificate of startup size since the service launch to date to benefit from various advantages, including applying for government tenders and finance.
Micro and small enterprises issued 35,857 and 36,183 certificates, respectively, while medium-sized enterprises issued 10,339 certificates, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.
A total of 45% of enterprises issued the certificate to apply for government tenders, 17.76% of enterprises aimed for finance, while 10.10% of enterprises looked for indirect lending.
