The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) attracted over 900 new industrial contracts this year, including major global companies, said MODON CEO Majed Al-Argoubi.
Al-Argoubi told Asharq News that MODON also expanded its industrial land portfolio by more than 19 million square meters (sqm) and introduced over 400 ready-to-operate factories to the industrial cities.
He noted that the authority’s goals for 2026 are even more ambitious, with a focus on attracting high-value players in supply chains to boost local content and enhance localization in the industrial sector.
Al-Argoubi highlighted that next year, MODON aims to develop over 16 million additional sqm of industrial land and around 500 ready-to-operate factories.
