Mobily Launches Antivirus Service in Collaboration with Intel – McAfee

Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has signed an agreement with Intel - McAfee International Company to launch antivirus and security service exclusively in the kingdom to protect customers from cyber-attacks in collaboration according to competitive prices.

Mobily clarified the subscription fee will be SR 20 if the customer desires to activate the service on three devices, and SR 30 if he desires to activate the service on five devices. This first option can be subscribed by sending 3 to 608200 whereas the second option can be activated by sending 5 to 608200.

The service can be activated to protect a smartphones, tablets, laptops or computers. This allows the subscriber the flexibility to distribute his subscription to cover all devices by antivirus protection according to his desire. 

The launch of this service comes in the light of the increasing demand for security systems against viruses, as recent study indicates that the Kingdom is exposed to about 60 million cyber-attacks during the past year which is considered the highest rate of such attacks in the region.
