Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Opens "Innovative Minds for a Creative Nation" to Encourage Industrial Innovation

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, inaugurated the first event on industrial innovation under the title "Innovative Minds for a Creative Nation".
Al-Khorayef stressed that the ministry strives to create an incubation environment for innovation and creativity to help innovators and find the appropriate way to support them and achieve the desired goal, which is to transfer ideas either to industrialization or to business models inside and outside the industry, adding that some ideas presented by the participants may soon emerge.
The Industrial Innovation Event aims to take stock of the experiences of innovators related to the industrial sector and provide them with support and incentives to help turn qualitative ideas into field projects as part of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources' efforts to develop industrial research, development and innovation, in a way that achieves alignment between programs and the real needs of the industrial sector and supports the journey of innovators.
During his visit to the exhibition accompanying the event, His Excellency was briefed on the Industrial Innovation Pavilions, where innovators made presentations on their innovations and qualitative ideas in a number of industrial activities.
