Mall of the Emirates, Majid Al Futtaim’s leading lifestyle destination, and Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, are set to host the 11th Annual Stollen Charity Cake Sale, on Friday December 9 from 10am.
This highly anticipated festive family event hopes to set a new fundraising record by selling every last slice of the traditional fruitcake with proceeds gifted to the Dubai Centre for Special Needs. The money raised will be used by the charitable organization to provide essential education and therapy for the Centre’s pupils, as well as assisting parents with annual fees. Last year, the event raised AED80,000 for the Dubai Centre for Special Needs.
“We are always so grateful to the team at the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates and Mall of the Emirates for their hard work and determination during their annual Stollen cake sale, they insist on doing it better and better each year!” said Dr. Mahshid Salehi, Director of the Dubai Centre for Special Needs, “The event is a great way to start the festive season and show people the importance of supporting their local UAE charities. We would like to thank them all for their hard work and continuous support throughout the years.”

The chefs of Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates will lay out 720 metres of Stollen cake in the mall’s Central Galleria ready to be purchased. 60cm Stollen loaves can be bought for AED100 or just AED5 for a delicious slice.
