AT KHALIDIYA PALACE RAYHAAN BY ROTANA
Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana in collaboration with Liwan, successfully hosted the Liwan Bazar for Fashion and Accessories held under the Patronage of her Highness Shaikha Salama Bint Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al-Nahyan and inaugurated by Sheikha Hamda girl Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Nahyan.
The Liwan bazar celebrates its 12 anniversary since the founding of Liwan Culture and Arts; an association promoting the female entrepreneurship in UAE fostering the women to participate in the local economic development.
“The Liwan bazar was a great shopping experience by showcasing great handicrafts in collaboration with Liwan and strengthening Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan’s commitment for charity projects. The bazar continue to pull visitors contributing to its success” said Mrs Eleni Tsolakou General Manager at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana.
The bazar started on November 3 with a great selection of items for women, men and kids, featuring various apparel and accessories collections displayed throughout the hotel’s lobby. It was a nice opportunity to purchase gifts for the coming festive season with many choices such as fashion items, scarves from Chic Foulard, abayas. The Emirati fashion designers’ talent and creativity were enhanced with Jalabiyah dresses and sarongs for daytime and evening apparels and handmade embroideries’ designed abayas.
The corner Others offered a selection of traditional perfumes combining amber and oud, Dokhoon perfumes, along with Aldkhoun tradition used locally every day. The “arts and crafts” proposed artistic handicrafts treasures: papercrafts, frames and candles, artificial flowers and Arabian Gulf spices used for cooking, and beautiful arrangements of carved fruits and chocolates.

We thank all the visitors of Liwan Bazar for their support and a special thanks goes to the Sidra wishes initiative launched by Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation to achieve 1000 wishes of the orphan children", commented Dr. Reem Dawood, General Director of The Liwan Bazar.
The event was also taken on a charity initiative with Takatof named “Donate2Read” where toys and books were collected in a collaboration with “Operation Smile” foundation, an international children’s charity committed to saving lives and allowing children with clefts to smile properly for the first time.
It was a successful Bazar weekend where visitors share a friendliness moment as they pursue their treasure hunt; while supporting small, local businesses and charity organizations.
