Lexus Shines at the Opening of the 77th Venice International Film Festival

The 77th edition of the Venice International Film Festival has opened on September 2nd, with Lexus as official car supplier for a fourth consecutive year. The festival, one of the film world’s most distinguished and high-profile events, will continue at the Venice Lido until September 12th.

The occasion highlights a synergy between cinema’s ability to engage and excite audiences, and Lexus’ desire to give its customers amazing experiences. Both focus on high-quality craftsmanship and the use of advanced technologies, while, going beyond the automotive world, Lexus also seeks to inspire creativity and innovation.

Two models which perfectly express Lexus’ values of innovation and style are being given their Italian national premiere in the beautiful setting of the Lido: the new UX 300e and LC Convertible. The UX 300e represents mobility of the future as Lexus’ first all-electric model, a luxury urban crossover that produces zero emissions. The LC Convertible is a new style icon, interpreting the international award-winning design of Lexus’ flagship coupe in the form a beautiful soft top that is rich in craftsmanship details, from the elegant lines of the folding roof to the use of fine quality materials and color-ways for the interior.

In its role as official car supplier, Lexus is providing the festival with a fleet of 36 vehicles that will be used by participating actors, film-makers, celebrities and distinguished guests to and from the red-carpet events and screenings. In addition to the UX 300e and LC Convertible, the line-up also includes the full range of Lexus SUVs, the ES luxury sedan and the LC flagship coupe, all powered by Lexus’ premium hybrid electric technology.
