King orders quality services for pilgrims

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has ordered all government departments to ensure that there are quality services provided for pilgrims at the Two Holy Mosques over the final days of Ramadan.
At a Cabinet meeting held at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah on Monday night, the king said the government is spending billions to improve infrastructure and facilities in Makkah and Madinah for millions of pilgrims visiting every year.
He said the government is committed to providing proper services for the world’s Muslims. He hoped and prayed that Allah would accept their good deeds this month, including their fasting and supplications, according to a statement issued by Adel Al-Toraifi, minister of culture and information, after the gathering.
The king thanked Allah Almighty for giving the government the ability to spend on the expansion projects in the two cities, and upgrade services provided for pilgrims during the holy month of Ramadan.
Al-Toraifi said the king urged officials to ensure that all projects are completed on time.
The king received an original document about Madinah libraries as a gift from the people of the city, presented by the city’s mayor Khalid Abdulqadir Taher and prepared by Ahmad Al-Khyari.
