On the occasion of celebrating the holy month, KidzMondo Doha, Qatar’s one-of-a-kind edutainment city, recently hosted its sponsors and partners for a special Ramadan ‘Ghabga’ gathering, in the presence of distinctive guests and media personnel.
The event honored the Holy Month's spirit of unity, togetherness and teamwork, while solidifying the shared vision of KidzMondo and its partners in Doha for empowering and holistically developing Qatar’s younger generations, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Commenting on the occasion Ms. Eman Baker Abu El Hawa, General Manager at KidzMondo Doha, said:
“It’s been a pleasure to invite our dear partners and respected members of the media to a special KidzMondo gathering, on the auspicious occasion of Ramadan.
There is absolutely no better time to celebrate the honorable values of solidarity and togetherness as well as the spirit of sharing, than during the Holy Month, and we sincerely hope that our guests had as much of a blessed time as we did.”
She added: “This special evening has also been a great opportunity to further talk about our shared vision for tomorrow’s generations in Qatar and how together, we can continue to provide them with a relevant and appealing experience that encourages interest and a homely environment, through which young minds can be the growing seed of a knowledge-based society, upon which the Qatar National Vision can be realized.
This wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering commitment and support of our visionary partners, and we can’t wait to take our collaboration to greater heights.”
Spanning across a built up area of about 8000 m2 at the country’s largest ‘Mall of Qatar’, the booming edutainment brand’s kid-sized city in Doha dovetails with the country’s rich heritage and deep-rooted cultural values, and its myriad establishments have been developed in partnership with celebrated local and regional brands in a multitude of fields and disciplines, in order to create a conducive learning environment for children and youngsters.
During the special gathering, the team of KidzMondo Doha expressed their gratitude to the edutainment city’s partners for playing an indispensable role in turning the innovative edutainment concept into a tangible reality for the present and future generations of Qatar, and reaffirmed KidzMondo Doha’s commitment to collaborating with its partners in order to set the benchmark for edutainment in the country and explore opportunities for mutual growth.
During the month of Ramadan, KidzMondo Doha is initiating many activities involving its young visitors as kidizens are having the opportunity to learn about doing ‘Sadaqa’ – donation – as part of KidzMondo Doha’s initiative in cooperation with Qatar Charity, Tayf and Jouf water which will encourage children to be more involved in corporate social responsibility initiatives. To further encourage the kids to ‘Live the Spirit’,
a story-teller – ‘Hakawati’ – is bringing the children to gather round and listen to special anecdotes and mementos of traditional Ramadan practices, educating them with the significance of the virtues surrounding Ramadan. Another special on-ground engagement is held in the presence of the Ramadan ‘Mesaharati’ – who will take a walk around the indoor theme park, beating his drum in honor of the traditional drummer that walks the streets before dawn to wake those that are sleeping, in order to have a small meal before fasting resumes.
