KHALIDIYA PALACE RAYHAAN BY ROTANA APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana is pleased to announce Murugan Loganathan as the new Director of Engineering.

Murugan Loganathan is a professional in Electrical, HVAC and Plumbing with more than 20 years of experience in design, development and maintenance of hotel Engineering equipment. His expertise vary from leading, motivating, ensuring zero defect of Engineering Equipment to Effective Project Management for hotel related works.

Murugan is a great asset to this five star city resort, with 443 room and suites with his wide knowledge of installation, testing and commissioning, maintenance operations and crisis management, implementation of servicing schedules for all the Engineering and maintenance. In addition, he is passionate about sustainability and bringing innovation, as Energy conservation – Inductive load compensation, reduction in inductive load, Conversion to LED’S, motion sensors and control on water consumption into the hotels daily operations.

Prior to his new appointment, Murugan Loganathan managed several pre openings for hotels in Dubai and India. He was also responsible for the engineering operations as an Assistant Director of Engineering in Beach Rotana, Abu Dhabi. Murugan enjoys reading technical books and doing Yoga. He hopes to share the benefits of Yoga with his colleagues and encourage them.

In the new role, Murugan Loganathan will collaborate with other department heads and manage team/ peers leadership through motivation, delegation and subordinate development skills for Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana. In addition to holding a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, he hold various certificates and awards as the Consistent Performer in 2001 and 2005.
