KAEC SIGNS CONTRACT WITH (IHCC) FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITS MEDICAL CENTER
King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) has recently announced the contract signing with the International Hospitals Construction Company (IHCC) for the development of its first family medical center. IHCC holds global expertise in providing solutions for health, education sectors and versatile projects. It is an integrated company for design, construction as well as specialized solutions including advisory services, construction, processing of medical equipment and furnishing. Additionally, it also handles renovations, project management and building maintenance services.
The KAEC family medical center will provide diverse services and ideal health care available 24/7 supervised by the best specialist physicians using laboratories that will be fully equipped with modern devices. Moreover, the center offers obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology, pediatrics and dental specialized clinics. On this occasion, Mr. Fahd Al-Rasheed, Group CEO and Managing Director of KAEC stated: “In continuation of the development of King Abdullah Economic City health care strategy, the new family medical center will be expanding its services to meet the population growth, increasing number of visitors and workers as well as “The World Academy” students.”

Mr. Mazen Tammar, Head of Corporate Business Development, Healthcare & Education in KAEC, confirmed that the signing of the contract came after studying and evaluating different offers of many leading companies. Therefore, IHCC was selected because of its distinguished technical possibilities, designs and construction staff. Tammar is certain that along with IHCC they will be able to reach the best international and technological standards for the city residents, workers and visitors. He also explained that the center will provide family medicine services six days a week, while emergency services will be provided 24/7. Additionally, the center will distinguish itself by providing specialized care through a number of specialized clinics.
