Jordan’s heritage and culture on display in Taif Season

Jordan is represented at this year’s Taif Season, with a pavilion in the Souk Okaz featuring a range of artistic and cultural activities on stage daily, alongside a market for various handicrafts and goods, including carpets, embroidery, sculpture, and traditional swords and other weapons.

Part of the Arab Neighborhood, the pavilion is intended to embody Jordanian heritage and history, with a model that simulates the famous Petra. Visitors are greeted at the entrance gate with traditional greetings, including “Yahala” “Welcome” and “God’s Guest Neighborhood.”

Inside the pavilion, tourists will see workers dressed in Jordanian folk costumes, who are ready to answer their questions on a range of subjects, and provide them with a unique experience.
