Now in its 27thedition, the Jewellery and Watch Show will once again be returning to Abu Dhabi next month on 26-30 October at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
The event is held under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Tolerance.
With hundreds of exciting brands from more than 25 countries, the Jewellery and Watch Show (JWS) will be hosting an array of unique jewellery designers, many of which will be displayed for the first time during the show.
The organizers of the show, Reed Exhibitions, has ensured that for the upcoming edition the event features several new designers from all across the globe. Some of the new designers this year include: Al Zain Jewellery, Lubhyati Fine Jewelry, Tejori, Jovial Watches and Onirikato name a few.
Mohammed Meheiddine, Event Manager said, “Like every year our vision is to ensure visitors of JWS are offered a remarkable experience in their search for distinctive products and brands not found in the mainstream. Whether they are looking for high-end items or lower priced everyday pieces, 150 brands offer a variety of options for diverse budgets. We have worked diligently to bring new designers admired from across the globe to the show, as well as the most respected brands everybody loves in the region.”
One of the main features of the show is the International Designer Gallery, which represents the global element of the show and allows international designers to highlight their jewels and designs to local customers who seek fresh and contemporary items. Another prominent part of the event is the Emirati Designer Gallery filled with local brands that are dedicated to promoting young Emirati entrepreneurs and provides a podium for emerging talent to be visible.
To heighten awareness and encourage UAE jewellery designers, JWS is once again hosting the EBDA’A Award in collaboration with Azza Al Qubaisi, the first jewellery artist in the region. The Awards are designed to give designers a chance to submit their jewellery design sketches and be evaluated by experts who will also provide counsel and guidance. The categories for the Awards are: Pearl Design, Emirati Design, Calligraphy andPeople of Determination. The deadline for submission is 10 October 2019.

Additionally, JWS will be offering an Augmented Reality Experience in partnership with Styledotme which will allow shoppers to try on a variety of jewellery pieces virtually.
