Introducing NEW super-blendable gel based Max Factor Excess Shimmer Eye Shadows

Almost 100 years after Mr. Max Factor first started selling eye shadow in 1916 - Max Factor continues to innovate with the launch of NEW gel-based Excess Shimmer Eye Shadows.
Available in six shades, these super-blendable shimmery shadows are designed for women who want to achieve on-trend metallic eye looks, but have difficultly creating them using traditional pressed powder eye shadows which fail to build in colour. New Excess Shimmer Eye Shadows makes it ultra-easy thanks to its smart 3D silicone gel formula which holds its high-impact metallic colour pigments in place for up to 12 hours, for intense luminosity and a smooth colour finish.
Re-create the Shimmering SS15 Eye Looks
Eyes took centre stage this season, as Max Factor Global Creative Design Director, Pat McGrath pioneered new forms of metallic eye looks in all shapes and sizes. From feminine muted mauves and cool bright blues, to more masculine sepia shades and greys reminiscent of natural stone – there’s endless glamour statements to play and recreate using Excess Shimmer Eye Shadows.
“If you want to add a touch of drama, look to the eyes rather than the lips this season. With a palette that so perfectly encapsulates the both the bright and urban moods seen across the AW14 runways, new Excess Shimmer Eye Shadows makes it so easy to recreate the most highly talked about intense metallic looks.” says, Pat. At Dior, there were two very different looks – an electric blue latex wing on the eyes of some of the models and a cream shadow in urban khaki on the others. Miu Miu was another example of the ultimate modern makeup, gel textured makeup to imitate plastic.
“Tailor these modern khaki metallic eye looks to suit you using a combination of Excess Volume Shadows in Pearl and Crystal, complimented with Excess Volume liner and mascara in Black. You don’t have to be as extreme – it’s the combination of eyeliner, brows and lashes that can turn a look up a notch or two. Don’t be afraid to play up your eye shadow to make a bolder shape than you might be used to, and then intensify with mascara.” recommends Pat.
Alternatively, opt for subtle glamour and experiment with earthy tones such as Excess Volume Shadows in Bronze and Copper to recreate the soft, barely there looks seen at Victoria Beckham and Valentino, where models adorned just a wash of light shimmery brown shadow to enhance the eyes.
Whatever your choice, each ultra-modern shade that can be dialled up or down to suit each individual. Apply one shade on its own for immediate colour intensity in one application or blend two together for a super intense eye look that’s that won’t fade, day or night.
How does it work?
New Excess Volume Shadows are a new innovation from Max Factor that have been developed to deliver the intense colour pay out women so highly desire but fail to achieve using pressed powder eye shadows that can appear faded when applied directly to skin.

The final instalment of the gorgeous Excess Boutique line-up is Excess Intensity Longwear Eyeliners; available in three new irresistible and intense shades including cobalt blue, jade and green. Catwalk chameleons can dial up intense metallic eye looks with even more drama by teaming Excess Shimmer Eye Shadows with these new shades of Excess Intensity Longwear Eyeliners and Excess Volume Mascara - for a total on-trend eye look that lasts. Mix and match the colours and shimmers to create something truly individual.
New Max Factor Excess Shimmer Shadows and the new shades of Excess Intensity Longwear Eyeliners will be available in store nationwide from May 2015, Retail price: 51 Dhs and 50 Dhs respectively.
