Industry Ministry issues 174 industrial licenses worth SAR 5.3 bln in September

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced issuing 174 new industrial licenses in September, at a total value of SAR 5.3 billion.

A total of 82 factories started actual production in September, with total investments of SAR 1.9 billion, the ministry said in a statement.

It added that the total number of existing factories by the end of September reached 11,273. The number of employees amounted to 7,139, of whom 1,599 are Saudis.
