Immensa Technology Labs, the UAE’s leading Additive Manufacturing (AM or 3D printing) company, has expanded its state-of-the-art 3D printing facility with the addition of two new industrial-scale printers. The company can now offer its clients a total of 10 3D printing systems and has also inaugurated its material testing and processing division by installing new high-tech testing equipment.
Fahmi Al-Shawwa, CEO of Immensa Technology Labs, commented: “As part of our strategy to strengthen our capabilities in providing mechanical and industrial 3D printed parts, we are delighted to be significantly enhancing our facility for the benefit of our clients. We believe in the extraordinary potential of AM and its benefits across all fields of business, where it can reduce cost, redefine productivity and fuel innovation. In line with the ‘Dubai 3D Printing Strategy’, we are proactively promoting the adoption of AM by providing new, industrial 3D printing solutions to organisations across the UAE, while also driving the development of this new technology at our new material testing and processing division.”
Immensa’s state-of-the-art facility now houses 10 3D printing systems and offers over 30 materials for production. It is equipped to build and manufacture production quality parts, components and one-off prototypes for customers across a variety of industries using a wide range of advanced technologies including Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Stereo lithography (SLA), Extrusion (FDM), and Material Jetting.
Immensa’s highly specialised, multi-disciplinary engineers – who make up the most experienced AM team in the region – collaborate closely with partners to advance their businesses and solve their most complex manufacturing problems by providing integrated digital and mechanical design and multi-material manufacturing solutions. The company also offers full consultation on the integration of 3D printing into manufacturing processes.
Immensa was established in 2016 to provide comprehensive solutions whereby AM can add value. The company is also committed to the research and development of 3D printing techniques, and has established its own proprietary techniques to fabricate and produce objects that would not be physically possible without AM.
