The restaurant launched in partnership with prominent Saudi restaurateur Mohammed Jawa, chairman of MJS Holding, who has over 20 years of experience within the local market and has played a pivotal role in the development of Saudi Arabia's burgeoning hospitality sector, introducing high-profile, international luxury and lifestyle restaurants to the Kingdom, such as Zuma, Roka, Inko, Nito, Mr. Chow, Amazonico, AOK, and more.

Il Baretto pays homage to Italy's most celebrated dining traditions, serving up a well-rounded blend of regional and northern Italian flavors. Head Chef Alex Simone designed the menu, exclusively working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and regional produce to curate the acclaimed Il Baretto culinary experience. Featuring Italian favorites as well as modern classics, the restaurant is renowned for signature creations such as the Lobster Linguine, Veal Milanese, Black Truffle Rigatoni, Fillet Rossini, and more.

Designed by British design firm Sagrada, Il Baretto Riyadh merges signature design elements from its Marylebone location with contemporary influences inspired by KAFD, presenting a sophisticated interior concept that reflects its inaugural role as the district's first restaurant.
