ّIDdesign, a leading international home lifestyle brand offering contemporary furniture and accessories hosted an exclusive floral workshop from SIA for select invitees at its Mall of the Emirates store. SIA is a globally recognized brand of decorative flowers.
The masterclass was conducted by Susana Garcia Santos, expert florist and Senior Visual Merchandiser from SIA headquarters in France, who presented a variety of floral arrangements and captivating bouquets to illustrate different styles for audience members. The invitees also sought suggestions on different styles of floral decorations and discussed ways to effectively use SIA flowers in different sections of a home.
The gathering also witnessed the launch of SIA’s latest Spring-Summer Collection in the UAE, which includes Hydrangea, Scabiosa, Peony and Orchids amongst many other genus variations in a range of attractive colours.
Adrian Shaw, General Manager for IDdesign, said: “SIA is an integral component of IDdesign stores across the UAE and garners a lot of interest from people who are as thoughtful about their accessories as they are about large furniture pieces. Flowers add a touch of elegance to any home, and coupled with IDdesign’s array of contemporary home furniture, SIA flowers contribute towards creating a distinct and colourful ambience for the home. I am sure that everyone left with a greater understanding of floral decoration, thanks to the engaging workshop while also getting to see the latest collection from SIA.”
“I have travelled extensively and conducted several workshops in floral art, but addressing people in the UAE was a unique experience,” says Susana, who has worked with SIA flowers for over 24 years. “With almost 200 nationalities calling UAE their home, the array of cultures and traditions brings forth a unique take on interior décor with a blend of varied design inspirations. I enjoyed my interaction with the audience and the opportunity to give them insights into using SIA as a wonderful floral backdrop for their homes,” added Susana.
