HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, President of the Royal Scientific Society and Chairman of Board of Trustees, inaugurated Arab Advisors Group’s Technology Convergence Conference 2016, taking place in Amman at the Four Seasons Hotel. The summit brings together top regional and global executives representing leading regional & global TMT companies.
HRH added“Today, the wonderfully promising ‘Third Wave’ – the Internet-of-Things – bodes great opportunities for a range of new and diverse players. Competition in the provision of services and the birth of truly disruptive innovation will be global and may emerge from any local entrepreneur around the world. It is predicted that the Internet of Things will connect some 20 billion or more objects to the Internet in the course of the next decade, thereby drawing in the vast majority of the world’s population. We all have the opportunity to give life to the pulse of a new connective being.
On this occasion, Faisal Hakki, Arab Advisors Group’s General Manager said "The Technology Convergence Conference 2016 comes in parallel with the unprecedented evolution in hyper connectivity globally. The conference sheds the light on the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in this new era, and the effect of mobility, IoT, big data, cloud computing and social platforms on the shape of businesses and daily lives of individuals”
“We thank HRH Princess Sumaya for her continuous support for our conferences. Our thanks also go to our sponsors, speakers and delegates for making our revamped conference a continuation of the success our conferences have witnessed over the past 12 years.”
