Hotelier Summit UAE & KSA to boost partnerships opportunities

The Hotelier Summit UAE & KSA will be held in its 9th Edition on 6-7 December, 2016 in Al Bustan Rotana in Dubai. This has been announced by Mr Ganesh Babu, Director, India & Middle East, IDE, organizer of the summit.

“The previous edition in Qatar had such a huge impact and generated a lot of good echoes among participants and in media as well as important business deals. We could present more than 345 projects and reunite over 120 hotel owners, operators, developers, architects, interior designers, consultants and service providers. The 9th Edition in Dubai will be another dynamic beehive with promising outcomes and final deals,” affirmed Babu.

The Summit enables the attendees to schedule one– to–one business meetings and get the opportunity to share knowledge, mingle and network with potential new business partners.

Alpen Capital report issued in August 2016, confirms that the GCC hospitality industry remains firm on its growth trajectory. The GCC Hospitality market is expected to grow at a 7.6% CAGR from an estimated US$ 25.4 billion in 2015 to US$ 36.7 billion in 2020.

“The regional governments support the tourism sector that they consider as a strong economy motor. Several measures have been taken such as building new attractions, involving private investments, and launching several international promotional campaigns. The ongoing projects in GCC have a combined estimated value of USD 104.4 billion. 15 of them are either in UAE or the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and represented a total value of USD 23.5 billion,” said Babu.

The event consists of various seminars and presentations addressing the offer, ongoing and expected projects and challenges in the hospitality sector in the Gulf region. This initiative aims to boost the procurement and selling process within the construction and design segment, bringing together key decision makers, around 70 buyers from UAE and 48 from KSA, and solution providers/product suppliers from the constructional, architectural, interior design, engineering and technology segments of the real estate industry.

Key decision makers from highly ranked institutions in the tourism will be present such as AE7, Pearl Jumeirah Hotel LLC - Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai, Dimensions Engineering Consultant, Rixos Hotels & Megaprojeler, Studio HBA, Emaar Properties PJSC, Dar Al Tanmiyat Co. Ltd, Perkins + Will, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Inter-Continental Hotel Group among others. From the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Omrania & Associates, Saudi Bin Laden Group, Optimum Engineering Co. for Construction will be among the corporations that will be represented at the summit.

“At the light of the feed backs we got from the previous edition in Qatar, we know that such event is vividly looked-for to expose the needs and find together proper solutions. The summit will discuss varying topics and highlight the opportunities for making business. Each discussion is led by prominent industry figures and seniors, sharing world-class experience and knowledge,” concluded Babu.
