Health Assurance Hospitals Company (DHAMAN), the first Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) healthcare organization in the Middle East, and InterSystems, a creative data technology provider dedicated to helping customers solve the most critical scalability, interoperability, and speed problems, announced today that DHAMAN has achieved the HIMSS O-EMRAM Stage 6 validation, an international benchmark for the use of advanced IT to improve outpatient care, using InterSystems TrakCare® unified healthcare information system.
HIMSS Analytics created the EMRAM methodology to evaluate the progress and impact of electronic medical record systems for hospitals. The validation measures clinical outcomes, patient engagement and the clinicians’ use of the EMR technology to strengthen organizational performance and health outcomes.
By being validated at Stage 6, DHAMAN is clearly demonstrating its ongoing commitment to improving patient safety and the overall quality of clinical care through the effective use and deployment of Electronic Medical Record technology.
This important milestone is in line with DHAMAN's pursuit of achieving one of Kuwait's National Development Plan pillars (New Kuwait 2035), which aims at providing the highest quality of healthcare.
