HE Butti Saeed Al Ghandi, Second Vice-Chairman of the Dubai World Trade Centre, inaugurated today the 4th Middle East Cleaning Technology Week (MECTW) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC). With over 130 companies participating, MECTW is expected to host over 4,000 cleaning industry professionals until 15 November 2016.
Following the inauguration ceremony, HE Butti Saeed toured the exhibition area accompanied by a number of key official and industry leaders where they were introduced to the latest technologies and developments in the facility management, cleaning services, car care and laundry sector.
HE Butti Saeed met with the exhibitors, including, Imdaad, Dhofar Global, Daitona General Trading, Auto Millennium Group, Menzerna, Alliance Laundry Systems, Burnus Hychem, Linencraft, Sealed Air Diversey Care, Lavajet Group and Green Mountains Environment and Transport Establishment.
One of the largest event for cleaning and hygiene sector, as well as car care and laundry service providers, MECTW features a wide lineup of innovative technology products and services with dedicated pavilions for specialised cleaning services, waste management services, as well as the sewerage and sanitation pavilion.

After the inauguration of MECTW, Jamal Lootah; Wiiliam Khodeir, Project Manager, Lavajet; Mahmoud Gaad, HR Director, Veolia; Abdulla Mohammed Kotbeddine, Operations Manager, Beeah; and Sonia Nasser, Technical Director, Waste Management Authority, RAK awarded the ‘Unsung City Cleaning Heroes’ Awards to the winning street cleaning and waste management staff from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah.
In addition to the three trade shows – Clean Middle East Pulire, Gulf Car Wash-Car Care Expo and Gulf Laundrex-Linen Care Expo, MECTW is hosting dedicated pavilions for specialised cleaning services, waste management services, as well as the sewerage and sanitation pavilion. Industry experts will also discuss latest trends in the cleaning sector at the International Cleaning & Hygiene Conference, Gulf Laundrex-Linen Care Conference, and Gulf Car Wash – Car Care Conference happening as a part of the three-day event.
Leading cleaning product suppliers, including, Sealed Air Diversey Care, Al Bariq Equipment, Intercare Ltd, Protec Technical Solutions LLC, HygieneTech, Anichem, Natronic Laundry Equipment LLC, and Aqua Recycle will host live product demos on all three days.
