GITEX Shopper 2015 kicks off tomorrow with a landmark 25th anniversary edition of the region’s largest and most anticipated consumer electronics show. Thousands of technology fans and smart consumers are expected to visit the show when it opens at 11:00am , at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), to snap up the special offers on the latest products.
The world’s top tech brands including Lenovo, Dell, Samsung and Toshiba, together with regional power retailers such as Jacky’s, Jumbo, Max Electronics, Plug Ins and Sharaf DG have promised exciting new product launches and unbeatable offers across the full range of technology, communication and entertainment products being showcased. Products include the latest laptops, mobile phones and smartphones, cameras, photographic equipment and wearable tech, including the latest bestselling gizmos - self-balancing electric scooters.

Beyond securing incredible deals for visitors, GITEX Shopper celebrates its 25th edition with AED 3 million in exceptional prizes to be won in promotions, competitions, giveaways and raffles being run throughout the eight days of the show. Included in these is the opportunity to win half a kilogram of gold every day, when visitors spend AED 500 and above. To participate in this daily raffle, visitors need to upload their invoices on the ‘Sweet’ app, for IOS fans or android fans.
Additional to the extraordinary prizes to be won this year, is the invaluable opportunity being offered by Amity University for students to win a university scholarship every day of the show. Valued at AED 280,000 and applicable to any Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree offered by the University, the scholarships require students to submit their best report cards each day to be in running.
Visiting GITEX Shopper has never been easier thanks to the dedicated DWTC Metro Station just metres from the door to the show, and ample parking on offer. The central location also offers a wide choice of food outlets, which together with the range of interactive activities taking place during the show, promises a great day out for friends and family.
GITEX Shopper 2015 run from 3 - 10 October and is open from 11:00am - 11:00pm every day. Tickets are priced at AED 30 per person. A promotional entry ticket price of AED 10 is available for students pre-registered in groups over 50. Entry is free for children below the age of five.
