GELATO LAIT’S NEW FLAVOURS THE EATALIAN ICECREAM

DUBAI April 13th Eataly introduces Làit Gelato’s new Summer flavours:
Chocolate&Hazelnuts, Coffee&Chocolate, Caramel&Meringue, Milk Icecream&Cherry, the Fresh Fruit Salad with icecream and the traditional Maritozzo con Gelato.

Eataly is all about tradition – and innovation too! We like to bring new techniques and pairings to the food industry, while still maintaining our simplicity.

Làit, means “milk” in the dialect of Piemonte, the Italian region that is the birthplace of Eataly.

Làit Gelato is made using the milk of pasture-fed Bianca Piemontese cows combined with high-quality ingredients. Làit Gelato is prepared combining ancient tradition and a unique technique that produce a rich and creamy soft-serve gelato.

THE ORIGIN OF MARITOZZO
These brioche buns are traditional in central Italy and very popular in the city of Rome. They are served at breakfast or enjoyed as a snack. The name Maritozzo derives from the word “marito” (husband, in Italian) since originally it was customary for the groom, as proof of his love, to give these buns to the future bride.

Eataly: Established in 2007 by former electronics entrepreneur Oscar Farinetti with the aim of making high-quality Italian food available to everyone, at affordable prices and in an informal environment where people can shop, taste and learn. Eataly opened its first 30,000 square feet location in a rundown vermouth warehouse in the Lingotto district of Turin, and has expanded ever since to 27 stores (10 in Italy, 13 in Japan, 1 in New York, 1 in Chicago, 1 in Turkey, and 1 located inside the Dubai Mall in Dubai, which opened its doors in December 2013). "We're in love with food" and "Food unites us all" are just two of the key philosophies of the Manifesto of the food emporium that combines multiple restaurant stations with a cafe and gourmet farmers’ market.
