The G20 Development Working Group (DWG) concluded its 3rd meeting under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's G20 Presidency, in the presence of representatives of several international and regional organizations.
Representatives of the G20 DWG members discussed a number of themes, including: the sustainable development financing framework, directives for quality infrastructure for regional connectivity, the emergency response plan for the novel coronavirus, recovery from coronavirus in developing countries, the updated accountability framework, the DWG annual update that included Riyadh's update on G20 contributions to 2030 agenda and the annual development commitments update.
Under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's presidency of the G20, the DWG held three formal meetings regarding discussions on the priorities, in addition to hosting two accompanying events focused on triangular South-South cooperation and private sector financing for sustainable development.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's G20 Presidency continues focusing on protecting lives from the implications of the novel coronavirus pandemic, in addition to promoting the fundamentals of a stronger recovery after the pandemic.
