For its first time in Saudi Arabia, Mube, the French greentech company, will visit the Kingdom in the framework of the French Smart & Sustainable Cities organized by Business France, under the patronage of the French Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, HE Ludovic Pouille.

With the aim to introduce its expertise in the rapidly expanding greentech sector of one of the world's fastest-growing economies, Mube will participate in this business expedition in Riyadh to engage with key stakeholders responsible for major projects in the kingdom, fostering discussions on innovative greentech technologies.

Romain Bourdais, General Director of Mube commented: “our solutions are centered around assisting cities in achieving connectivity while prioritizing environmental sustainability. Moreover, their efforts aim to enhance the aesthetics, as well as cleanse the air in urban areas, all while promoting the implementation of a more eco-friendly digital ecosystem”.

In fact, Mube has invented the connected green column, which is a vertical urban lung that can rise up to 20 metres and purify and refresh the air in cities and carry and connect equipment. Thus, the result of 3 years of research and development, rewarded by several patents, the vegetated column is the ideal support for smart city equipment: antennas, cameras, sensors, lighting..., this new concept allows telecoms infrastructures to become vegetated structures that enhance the urban design of the residential areas.

Mube's technology addresses the challenges of heat islands, pollution, and CO₂ absorption by leveraging the beneficial properties of plants. By transforming communities into sustainable and responsible locations, their technology plays a crucial role in implementing smart city plans.

During the French smart & sustainable days in KSA, Mube will highlight how to combine the performance of plants and telecoms on a single medium, offering residents a more pleasant lifestyle.

Considered as the country that is launching the most ambitious projects in terms of sustainable cities and connectivity thanks to its Vision 2030 program launched by the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Mube’s greentech solutions aim to be part of this national strategy by bringing value and know-how to the country’s achievement and success.

In fact, the French company shares Saudi Arabia's vision in terms of innovation and demonstrates through its product that plants and technology can coexist for the construction of the cities of tomorrow. While Mube’s technology makes it possible to develop green spaces by consuming 50 to 70% water less; and add a green touch to the cities’ landmark. Being unique and innovative, the french greentech is keen to support the development of new neighborhoods and in particular projects like NEOM.

Coupled with the need for connected equipment (camera, lighting, antenna, sensor, to name just a few), Mube is ready to cooperate with private and public entities such as the public ministry in charge of revegetation and telecommunications companies, developers, urban architects.

Starting in 2019, Mube achieved signigficant milestones in its journey towards success when they installed more than 200 masts in Paris suburbs. In 2022, they also forged a strategic partnership with the French telecommunications group TDF to deploy their solutions across France, and further solidifying its expansion in the European market, with a particular focus on Spain.
