Ericsson has scooped four Red Dot Product Design 2019 awards for Ericsson Radio System portfolio products: Ericsson AIR 5331, Ericsson AIR 6488, Ericsson AIR 4455 and Ericsson DOT 4479.
The Red Dot Product Design Award is one of the world’s largest design competitions. In 2019, designers and manufacturers from 55 countries entered more than 5,500 products in the competition.
Ericsson received distinction in the Product Design 2019 award for its products’ outstanding design, level of innovation, functionality, formal quality, longevity and ergonomics.
Peter Zec, Founder and CEO, Red Dot, congratulated Ericsson on the “wonderful” success.
“The fact that their products were able to satisfy the strict criteria of the jury bears testimony to their award-winning design quality,” he says. “(They) are thus setting key trends in the design industry and are showing where future directions may lead.”

The awards are not the first time Ericsson excellence has been recognized by Red Dot.
