Five NWC water projects enter service in 11 Taif districts at +305m SR

The National Water Company (NWC) has announced the commissioning of five water development projects in 11 districts in Taif governorate. The cost amounts to more than 305 million Saudi riyals, with the aim of increasing service coverage.

 

The company announced that the projects include the construction of more than 205 kilometers of water networks and pipelines, which will have a great impact on the supply of water to the beneficiaries in Taif governorate.

 

"We have implemented a pipeline project for Al-Sharif reservoir in Taif with a length of more than 17 kilometers, in addition to building an operational reservoir with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters to supply the districts of North Rehab, Rayha, Al-Wasit, Muthamla, Sultana, Al-Mudabaa, Al-Huwayyah, Al-Khudhairah, Al-Mu'taridh, Al-Jawhara and Al-Ruwaidif," NWC said. In addition, the company built a main pipeline with a length of more than 9 kilometers to feed the water network in the center of Hawiyah, implemented awater networks project with a length of 73 kilometers to serve (Hawiyah), and implemented water networks project with lengths of more than 104 kilometers to serve both Al-Mu'taridh and northeast of Al-Jawhara districts. 

 

NWC stressed that these projects come within the framework of its efforts to enhance the water services system, raise operational efficiency, and expand the circle of districts served by water networks in Taif Governorate. The company called upon the residents of Al-Mu'tadidh and Al-Jawhara districts to apply for the service through its NWC mobile app
