Faisal Abdulmohsen Almari champion of the Saudi Star Drift Championship

Saudi Arabia's fourth consecutive championship in Saudi Arabia ended with Faisal Almuhsin Almari being the first place in the Kingdom with a large number of fans and enthusiasts, while Bader Alshurahi were second place and Turki Al-Zair were third. The championship was held under the auspices of the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation (SAMF) and was organized by Saudi Arabia's motor sports champion, Captain Abdullah Bakhshab, under the patronage of Nissan Saudi Arabia, Total Saudi Arabia and Alif Alif radio.

 

The tournament began with four rehabilitation rounds in the various regions of the Kingdom, starting from Al Khobar, then Riyadh City, passing through Al Ahsa and from there to Jeddah where the fourth qualifying round and the final round were held. In the fourth qualifying round in Jeddah, a number of distinguished champions were shown to show their talent. The winners of the first place in this round were Sultan Abunab, Nader Idris were second place and Zakaria Al Salwan were third.

 

The participants in the final round used two cars of the same class and the power of the engine, the Nissan Z370, the official car of the championship, which was provided by Nissan to ensure absolute neutrality among the drivers.

 

Crown Prince Khalid bin Sultan, Captain Abdullah Bakhshab and Abdullah Sobh, the representative of the Nissan Company, took the heroes and took with them the commemorative pictures amidst the joy of the public and the organizers of the tournament. The organizer of the tournament, Captain Abdullah Bakhshab expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan Alfaisal, President of the Saudi Federation of Automobiles and motorcycles, as well as Nissan Saudi Arabia, Total Saudi Arabia and Alif Alif radio to sponsor this tournament.
