Eros Media World and Arabia Pictures to Co-Produce Three Films in Saudi Arabia

• Includes Hindi Original Films and Arabic remake for burgeoning Saudi & Global Arabic Market
• The announcement is a part of the on-going strategic partnership between the two companies disclosed earlier this year
• The three films will enter production in 2023 in phases with support from Saudi Institutional framework of Investment, Culture & Tourism

Eros Media World PLC (“ErosMedia”, “Eros" or the “Company”) (NYSE: EMWP), a global Indian media and entertainment company and Arabia Pictures will produce three full length feature films including Originals and One  remake of a marquee Bollywood Box Office super hit film and two untitled Hindi language projects. All three films will be conceived and developed in Saudi. The local remake film will go on the floor for production by mid of 2023 and the other two by end of 2023.

Arabia Pictures is a content production and distribution outfit, focusing on the MENA region. In August this year, ErosMedia and Arabia Pictures had announced a strategic partnership explore opportunities in film production, technology, and Web3 space. 

The partnership is in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, a strategic framework by the government to move away from Saudi Arabia’s dependence on oil to diversify its economy and develop public service sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, recreation, media and tourism.
