Emirates Park Zoo and Resort Launches Summer Camp for Children

Emirates Park Zoo and Resort has launched its unique, month-long summer camp that bridges the gap between children and wildlife. A combination of fun and learning, camp goers will partake in a series of interactive games and activities, while also gaining insight into the different species of animals.

The summer camp will kick off on 2 July to 31 August, from 9 am – 2 pm daily, with the exception of Tuesdays which will observe a special timing of 9 am – 3 pm. Designed for children between the ages of 6 to 12, the summer camp will also have projects that will raise awareness amongst the participants on a variety of environmental causes, such as endangering of animals, animal abuse, and wildlife conservation.

Dr. Waleed Sha’aban, Emirates Park Zoo’s Operations Manager said, “The Emirates Park Zoo and Resort Summer Camp is the perfect first step for children, to foray into the world of wildlife. It offers a safe environment for children to meet and closely interact with animals that they otherwise only see on television and in books.”

The weekly camp program is inclusive of exciting adventures and child-friendly, healthy meals that will leave your kids wanting more of Emirates Park Zoo and Resort.

“The program encourages kids to harness, strengthen and use their natural instincts and skills. It’s also fun and allows them to let loose in an energetic environment. This summer we look forward to teaching children how to work in teams, practice problem solving, and revel in the fascinating world of animals through innovative and engaging games and activities,” stated Dr. Waleed.

Rates start at AED 159 per child for one day, AED 699 per child for one week and AED 2499 per child for one month. For an additional cost, enjoy transportation to and from the zoo.
