Edarat Communication and Information Technology Co. was awarded a three-year framework agreement with the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority (ECZA) for a disaster recovery and managed services center with a ceiling value of SAR 20 million, including VAT.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the agreement aims to enhance IT continuity and operational resilience for ECZA.
Edarat will analyze the production environment, develop cloud infrastructure, and define recovery objectives—including the recovery time objective (RTO) and recovery point objective (RPO)—based on the criticality of these applications and their impact on the authority’s operations.
The services provided include disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) and managed services on Edarat’s local cloud, along with other related offerings.
There are no related parties to the deal, the statement added.
