Dubai Customs gives out Eid money to 200 orphans

Dubai Customs’ Ghayyath Volunteer Team launched “Ghayyath Eid Gift” in cooperation with Dubai Charity Association. The initiative targeted orphans and needs family in Ajman. The team gave Eid Al-Fitr money to 200 orphans, plus 200 snacks to them and to their families in an attempt to cheer them up.

Fouad Al Shihi, Head of Ghayyath Volunteer Team said 2017 is a year of giving and an occasion to help children and orphans and make them happy.

He added that there were other initiatives carried out by the team including paying Ramadan alms to 170 needy families in Ajman and distribution of 500 Suhur meals to needy families and laborers in Ajman.  

The team includes 90 male and female volunteers who work collectively to support solidarity and give a lending hand where needed in support of the UAE’s strategic vision and values.
