Dubai Culture & Arts Authority’s (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts and heritage, has announced that it has received the ‘ISO 9001:2000’ certification in recognition of its commitment to preserving the UAE’s national identity and promoting Dubai’s cultural landscape.
Receiving the certificate is an endorsement of the efforts made by the Authority’s employees to implement the best international standards and specifications, and to strive for institutional excellence and quality management. Dubai Culture has achieved this while also remaining aligned with the ‘Dubai Plan 2021’ and its own strategy to enhance the happiness and well-being of people in Dubai by supporting a multicultural, sustainable and vibrant society.
Saeed Al Nabouda, Acting Director General at Dubai Culture, commented: “We are proud to have received the ‘ISO 9001:2000’ certificate as it recognises the pivotal role Dubai Culture plays in establishing Dubai as a creative and sustainable global city for culture, heritage, arts and literature by empowering these four sectors to bring happiness to society.
