Disney Voice Star Makes a Great Impression at Sharjah International Book Fair

40 million YouTube hits for his renditions of hit songs including ‘Let it Go’ using 21 Disney voices, Brian Hull, had made massive impression on the 35th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) being held at Expo Centre Sharjah between 2-12 November.

After hearing of the mass online audience, Disney contacted Brian and signed him up as a voice actor. At just 23 years old, he has now moved from his native town of Mansfield in Texas to Los Angeles.

“It is just crazy. I was studying, then I uploaded and now I’m in L.A. Everything is a blur,” he said. “I have worked on two movies and I am getting work for TV commercials, my world has changed completely and I love it. I’m very lucky and I would say to anyone that all they need to do is follow their dreams and anything can come true. I’m living proof of that.”

In front of a packed audience, he sang the theme tune from the movie ‘Frozen’, which stayed at number one in the Billboard Top 200 for five weeks, with voices including some of Disney’s and Pixar’s best-loved characters including Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald Duck. He also performed one of his later tracks, ‘Hello’, by Adele using 29 voices, which has 5 million views.

But Brian is more than just an impressionist and more than just a singer. He was studying opera at college when he uploaded his Let It Go tribute on to YouTube to see what the reaction would be.

To celebrate 100,000 followers on YouTube, Brian recorded a unique video in a lightning-fast, non-stop marathon of a hundred voices in 3 minutes 42 seconds.

With a classically trained voice and a sense of self-effacing humour, Brian finished his set with the worldwide hit ‘Drag Me Down’ by One Direction.
