Disney+ launches its first locally produced campaign starring familiar Saudi faces

From The Saudi Reporters to Nada Baeshen, local famous faces grace the action-packed spot

 

 Just shy of its one-year anniversary in the Middle East, Disney+ rolls out its first regionally-produced campaign leading with a 40sec action-packed TVC starring prominent Saudi talent. 

 

Fans can expect to see comedic brother duo Abdullah and Abdulaziz Bakr of ‘The Saudi Reporters’ fame, Instagram laugh factory Muhanad Al Harbi,TV host Nada Baeshen, and Saudi model and actress Jood Aziz steal the spotlight in the new campaign. 

 

This marks the first time Disney+ unveils a locally developed and produced commercial. With 40 seconds of action, drama, adventure, and entertainment, the ad sees the talent engaging with the latest Disney+ smash-hits, like The Mandalorian and Grey’s Anatomy, to cult-classics, such as beloved Disney and Pixar titles. Plus, all this beloved content, available on all devices, in English and Arabic.

 

The AV-led campaign was developed in-house and is now live across KSA and the UAE. 

 

With content customized for the Middle Eastern audience with a firm focus on family values, Disney+ is leading the charge in bringing entertainment that takes viewers on a journey that enthralls all age groups. 

 

Disney+ features a child-friendly, easy-to-navigate interface to access age-appropriate content. These include setting access limits based on content ratings for individual profiles, with five different ratings from 0+ to 18+. Parents can also PIN protect their own profile to prevent younger household members from having unintended access to more mature content alongside the already existing Kid Profiles. Finally, Disney+ ascertains high-quality viewing and is compatible across multiple devices – TV, computer, mobile, and tablet.
