Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women and Children, a Mubadala Health partner, celebrated the first day of Eid Al-Adha with the arrival of three baby girls.
Dr. Mohaymen Abdelghany, Executive Director, Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children said: “We are happy to welcome these newborns into the world, as we celebrate the festivities of Eid Al-Adha. It is heartwarming to be a part of this special moment and our caregivers are continuously working to ensure that the infants and their families receive the best-in-class care and support. We are proud to cross the milestone of delivering a total of 29,153 babies since the Danat Al Emarat hospital delivered the first baby in 2015. Of the total number of births, 15,184 were boys and 13,969 were girls, with 16,172 being of Emirati origin. We wish the babies and their parents best of health, happiness and prosperity.”
The first family to welcome their newborn baby was the Emirati family of Sultan Hasan, welcoming a baby girl. She weighed 2.14 kg and was born at 03:48 AM in good health. The parents named her, Dana. Her father said: “We are blessed to welcome our daughter on this festive day into the world. We would like to thank the nurses and staff of Danat Al Emarat for their exceptional and unconditional care. It is because of them that everything went smoothly, and that our daughter arrived safe and healthy. Eid Mubarak”
The second newborn delivered was at 03:51 AM. The Jordanian father of the girl was overwhelmed while expressing his emotions and said: “Our daughter being born on the first day of Eid-Al -Adha is extremely special to us. Thank you to all the staff and nurses at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for treating us like one big family. This has certainly been a moment we will never forget and a cause for even more celebrations this Eid.”
The third newborn delivered at 07:09 AM on Eid Al-Adha was from the Emirati family of Mussalam Mohammed Alrashdi. The father said: “We have named our newborn Asma and are extremely blessed that our daughter arrived safely on this special day. We thank God that both, she and her mother are in good health. Eid Mubarak to everyone.”
To mark these festivities, Danat Al Emarat Hospital distributed flowers and chocolates to all patients and children, who were celebrating Eid-Al-Adha at the hospital.
