Before the glamorous madness of Fashion Forward Dubai begins, let us talk something we love the most … food!
UAE’s favorite Peruvian restaurant, COYA is launching its first pop-up in Riyadh Saudi this November 1, with a curated a la carte menu and the expressive works of famed Peruvian photographer, Martin Chambi.
The Riyadh pop-up will serve signature favorites that includes Atún Chifa ceviche; Arroz Nikkei or famous Chilean seabass cooked in iron pot; Tacos de Atún or individual tuna tacos with wasabi; Baos con Res Wagyu, a wagyu shortrib served in a house-made bao; and Lomo de Res or spicy beef fillet with crispy shallots. The menu also includes a range of guest favorite desserts, such as the Churros de Naranja and Chocolate Fundido, along with COYA’s bespoke non-alcoholic cocktails.
As part of the restaurant’s unique, multidimensional dining experience, COYA will be adorning the space with Latin American antiquities recreating the unique atmosphere that exists in each of its worldwide venues. Aiming to bring the true essence of COYA to life, the pop up with also exhibit the photographic work of Martin Chambi, a distinguished photographer from Latin America. Chambi’s photographic style and technique drew heavily from both the European and Pictorialist styles of his era. His groundbreaking work rose to prominence due the intimacy and thought-provoking photography he produced of his documentary subjects.
COYA’s newest pop-up will run for six months and will be located at Oud Square, Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh and will serve the special menu with calorie content on display from Sunday to Wednesday, 4.30pm to 11.30pm, and Thursday to Saturday, 1pm to 11.30pm from November 1. The new restaurant is the second pop-up launched by COYA in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
